Abstract

Triamidesl sec-Aliphatic amines react readily with phosphorus trichloride to form hexaalkyl- phosphorous triamides,(R: N) aP. These phosphorous triamides are easily converted to the corresponding phosphoric triamides,(R2N) 3P0, by oxidation with dilute hydrogen peroxide; or to the corresponding phosphorothioic triamide,(R2N) 3PS, by sulfurization with elemental sulfur.
