Reactions of Roussin's red sodium salt with organic halides gave (K-RS)~ F~~(NO)~(two isomers) in good yield, while reactions with R3SnX (R= Ph, Me), Ph, PbBr, and RHgX (R= Ph, Me) and with [q5-C, H, Fe (C0) 2THF] BF4 yielded the expected organometal derivatives.
