Abstract

Qualitative examination of 4.0. i0-s' 4.5-i0-2 M aqueous and alcoholic solutions by TLC, using the solvent system chloroform-heptane-ethanol (50: 30: 30) showed that when (I)(Rf= 0.64) was kept in light, it was slowly converted into another compound (II)(Rf= 0.84).
