Abstract

SQ 62 We have found that the transformation is a general one, and several other ketones, esters, and nitriles can be converted to the corresponding cyclic products (Table I). The reactions were carried out using 10 mmol of the organic substrate, 20 mmol of NazFe (CO14, and 20 mmol of methyl acrylate in THF (40 mL).
