Abstract N-Oxidation of arylamines to their corresponding nitrosobenzenes using a new chloroperoxidase purified from Musa paradisiaca stem juice has been examined. The enzymatic characteristics of the stem chloroperoxidase using 4-chloroaniline as substrate were determined.
