Abstract

Abstract. Reactions of 7-allyl-(5) and 7-metliallyl-S-liydtoxycluinoline (4) with selected aryl- sulfenyl chloride8 (3a-a) yield the products of cyelofi~ nctionalization corresponding 2- arylthio-methpl-2, 3-dihydrofuro [~ 4.2-li] qiiinolins (6 and 7). The products ale identified by lH-nmr-spectro-scopy, mass spcc tronietry and microanalyses.
