Abstract

A versatile, cheaper, silver and water-free metathesis reaction was developed for imidazolium, phosphonium and pyrrolidinium based ionic liquids (ILs) associated with different anions such as dicyanamide, thiocyanate, tetrafluoroborate and bis (trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide.
