Abstract

Trifluoroacetyl Chloride.-A 1-liter 3-necked flask was equipped with a dropping funnel, stopper, and an 8-in. helix-packed column. A partial take-off still-head and a Hopkins type, Dry Icecooled condenser were attached to the column. The head and condenser gas outlet were then connected to a Dry Ice trap.
