Abstract

The formation of carbon–carbon bonds is a key component of many transformations in the pharmaceutical, agrochemical and organic chemical industries. Generally speaking, these transformations involve the reaction of alkyl or aryl halides with an alkyl or arylating agent, or with an alkene (Heck, Suzuki, Stille etc. couplings).
