Abstract Electrophilic chlorofluorination and bromofluorination of 2-chloroperfluoro-1, 3- butadiene (1) have been found to occur exclusively at the 1, 4-positions and regioselectively. Under mild conditions, diene 1 interacts with SbF 5 to form vinyl derivatives of antimony.
