Abstract

A new class of floating composite photocatalysts for water purification is introduced. The composite material is comprised of exfoliated graphite support, titania photocatalyst, and sol- gel-derived methyl silicate binder. The catalyst composition was optimized for the degradation of rhodamine B dye.
