Abstract

Abstract A number of 1-alkynyl thioethers and selenoethers RC [TRIPLE BOND] C-XR′(X [DOUBLE BOND] S or Se) have been prepared by reaction of sodium alkynylides, dissolved in liquid ammonia, with sulphur or selenium, followed by alkylation. 1, 3-Enynyl thioethers, RCH [DOUBLE BOND] CH-C≡ C-SR′, ω, ω-diynyl thioethers R′ SC≡ C-(CH 2) nC≡ C- SR′ and 1, 3-diynyl thioethers RC≡ CC≡ C-SR′ also can be obtained in this manner. ...
