Abstract

Pleiadene, the parent hydrocarbon of the pleiadene series, has been generated both thermally and photolytically from 7, 12-dihydropleiadene-7, 12-sulphone, as well as by the copper or zinc debromination of 7, 12-dibromo-7, 12-dihydropleiadene.
