Abstract

Abstract Keto allylic systems with a heterocyclic ring in γ-position were prepared; these undergo nucleophilic substitution reactions with amines, where a replacement of bromine at the bromomethyl group takes place in contrast to benzene analogues, where the nucleophilic attacks the γ-carbon of the keto-allylic system.
