Abstract

The reported high concentrations of 5, Ei-diphenylhydantoin (DPH) in brain tissue and its preferred localization in primary brain tumors1v2 suggested the synthesis of highly reactive DPH analogs as potential brain antitumor agents. 3 The nitrogen bridgehead bicyclic compounds la and lb are part of the results of this work, and, in addition to their behavior as powerful alkylating agents, these compounds have clarified the course of intramolecular ...
