Abstract

Oxaliplatin,(trans-R, R-cyclohexane-1, 2-diamine) oxalatoplatinum (II), has recently been approved for combination chemotherapy of metastatic colorectal cancer. Oxaliplatin is significantly more active than its trans-S, S isomer and the mixture of both enantiomers.
