Two new sesquiterpenes, 6α-hydroxyeudesm-4 (15)-ene-9β-Ο-anisate (3) and 1β- hydroxyeudesma-4, 11 (13)-dien-12-oic acid (4), were isolated, together with damsinic acid (1) and β, 6α-dihydroxyeudesm-4 (15)-ene (2), from Ambrosia elatior (Compositae).
