Abstract

The N, O-acyl migration in dipeptides containing serine or threonine was studied in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride. In some instances this reaction was also studied in concentrated sulfuric acid. All experiments were followed by Van Slyke ammonitrogen determinations, paper electrophoresis, and isolation, crystallization, and identification of the reaction products by classical means.
