Abstract

Summary: The sequential coupling reactions of Grignard reagents with S-phenyl carbonochloridothioate in the presence of nickel (I1) or 'iron (II1) catalysts provides a very mild and straightforward route to symmetrical and unsymmetrical aliphatic and aromatic ketones.
