Abstract

Abstract Two novel, rigid, photoluminescent, substituted terfluorene derivatives were synthesized by utilizing direct bromination and Suzuki coupling reactions. These oligomers were used as initiators for the atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) of styrene and tert- butyl acrylate.
