A new series of bromophenols was synthesized by reactions of corresponding phenol analogs with bromine. The synthesized compounds were tested for inhibitory activity against isocitrate lyase (ICL) of Candida albicans and antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and, Gram-negative bacteria and fungi.
