Abstract

1-(Alkylmho)-guanidines.-Recrystallized aminoguanidine hydrochloride (11.1 g., 0.1 mole) was suspended in 100 ml. of glacial acetic acid and 0.11 mole of aldehyde or ketone added with stirring. The mixture was heated at GO'until solution was complete and then transferred to a 373-ml. Parr hydrogenation bottle.
