Various 1-alkenyl isocyanates were prepared by the reactions between the corresponding acid chlorides and sodium azide. Infrared spectra of these isocyanates and the derivatives which were obtained from the reactions of these isocyanates with alcohols and amines were determined. The isomerization reactions of alkyl N-1-alkenyl carbamates and Nl-alkeny1-N'- alkylureas were discussed as the following types:
