Abstract

The self-assembly of a novel series of intramolecular hydrogen bonding-driven foldamers have been described. Five linear aromatic amide oligomers, which bear two to six repeating benzoyl amide subunits, respectively, have been prepared by continuous amide-coupling reactions.
