Abstract

In an effort to identify novel multifunctional drug candidates for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD), a series of hybrid molecules were synthesised by reacting N-(aminoalkyl) tacrine with salicylic aldehyde or derivatives of 2-aminobenzaldehyde.
