Abstract

A novel series of N-alkyl/aryl substituted phthalimide analogs containing 2-bromopyridyl functionality were synthesized applying optimized Buchwald-Hartwig amination conditions using palladium acetate, cesium carbonate, and±BINAP in toluene at 110° C under argon atmosphere.
