Abstract

Zusammenfassung Degradation of moenomycin with trifluoroacetic acid followed by reaction with 2-propanol gave 13, 15, and 16 by preferred cleavage of 2-acetamido-2-deoxy- hexopyranosidic linkages. The structure of 14 has been established on the basis of 1 H NMR. 13 CNMR, and mass spectral data.
