Abstract Two energetic ionic salts DATr· NTO (2) and DATr· TNR (3) of 3, 4-diamino-1, 2, 4- triazole (DATr)(1) were synthesized by reaction of 3, 4-diamino-1, 2, 4-triazole with either 3- nitro-1, 2, 4-triazole-5-one (NTO) or 2, 4, 6-trinitro-resorcinol (TNR) in aqueous solution.
