Abstract

Probe: An in-depth study on the luminescence of fluorinated benzoates of lanthanides was performed, optimizing the fluorination degree of the complexes. This leads to a europium 2-fluorobenzoate dehydrate showing excellent properties, as a viable bio-marker.
