Abstract

Ia, R'= n-CgH19, R 2= CH3 b, R'= n-CTH15, R 2= CaHj sess a significant degree of antiviral activity'was regarded as a valuable" lead" for the synthesis of compounds of even greater antiviral activity and potential therapeutic application. It was thought of some importance, therefore, to determine the limits of structural variation of compounds of type I which are possible without loss of antiviral activity.
