Abstract LiTMP or LDA-mediated in situ generation of α-lithio difluorovinyl carbamate1b allows the preparation of silylated derivatives4a and2b which undergo organolithium addition-elimination and fluoride-mediated condensation reactions respectively to give new functionalized organofluorine derivatives5a–d (Table 2) and11a-c (Table 3).
