: Silver trifluoromethanesulfonate (2.57 g, 10 mmol) was added to a stirred suspension of (834 mg, 1 mmol) in 25 ml of acetonitrile. The solution was stirred for 15 minutes, then filtered through Celite to afford a slightly yellow solution. Ether (150 ml) was slowly added.
