Abstract We report the synthesis and in vitro studies as MAO inhibitors of 2 series of new acetylenic and allenic derivatives of 2-(5-benzyloxyindolyl)-and 2-(5-hydroxyindolyl) methylamines and their indolylmethylamine precursors.
