Abstract

The hydroformylation of olefins, that means the addition of CO and H 2 (syngas) to olefins, is one of the largest homogeneously catalyzed reaction in industries. 1 In this respect exclusively catalysts on the basis of cobalt and rhodium are used. They are frequently modified by trivalent phosphorus compounds as ligands.
