Conclusions Rate constants for various types of reaction involving CH3+ have been calculated over a wide temperature range with a minimum of adjustable parameters. The results obtained are in good agreement with the available experimental data and represent a fairly modest investment of time on a medium-sized computer (VAX 6210).
