Abstract Aggregation-enhanced emission active 9, 10-bis (N-alkylcarbazol-2-yl-vinyl-2) anthracenes with changed length of N-alkyl chains (methyl, propyl, pentyl, and dodecyl) have been synthesized and their piezofluorochromic properties investigated.
