Abstract: Lanceomigine 3, which is the first of a new class of alkaloids and 17- hydroxypseudoakuammigine 2 are described. Structure of 2 and 2 is based on their physical properties and on a chemical correlation. The reduction product of 3 has been subjected to single crystal-X-ray analysis.
