Abstract

Pressure reactions were carried out in stainless steel screw-capped bomb reactor obtained from Parr Instruments Co. Caution: heating these reagents at high pressure requires a closed fume hood and blast shield. All other reactions were carried out under an atmosphere of argon or nitrogen in flame-dried glassware with magnetic stirring. Reagents were purified prior to use unless otherwise stated.
