GB 2760—96规定为允许使用的食用香料。主要用以配制水溶性薄荷香精(用量10%左右)及油溶性薄荷香精(用量可达38％)，或直接加于清凉型饮料、酒及胶姆糖、泡泡糖(用量可达6%)等中
