[In Vivo]

Anti-infective agent 5 (50 mg/kg; p.o. twice daily for five days) reduces the parasite burden in bioluminescent T. cruzi mouse model[1]. Animal Model: BALB/c mice with bioluminescent T. cruzi CL Brener parasites infection[1] Dosage: 50 mg/kg Administration: Oral gavage; 50 mg/kg twice daily for five days Result: Showed a reduction in parasite burden of >98-99% with no significant adverse effects observed in mice.
